Career Coaching from the Department of Labor

The Career Express Team will give an on site training for job hunters. They come with a bus and computers. They will be at Danbury library on May 4th from 10am to 2pm. Please don't miss this good opportunity.


Internet Email

We will help you create an Internet email account and teach you how to fill out an online job application. If you have a copy of your current resume, bring it with you. You will learn how to upload the resume and submit it online. Registration is required.


Resume Writing Class

Register at the Ask Me desk for a Resumer Writing class and learn how to best represent yourself and increase your chances of being hired by the employer.


Interview Skills Workshops

Practice selling yourself through Interviews. You need to register at the Ask Me desk.

Fax machine and scanner at Technology Center
Computer workstations designated for job seekers on the main floor
Free Internet computers and Wifi for laptops
Copiers and color printers.
Desktop computers with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel. The Technology Center and Language Lab have professionals to assist you, who speak Spanish, Portugues and Chinese.
