Wiki is a server program that allows users to collaborate in contributing articles of a web site. With a wiki, you can edit the web site content using a web browser. It is similar to a blog. The difference is that a blog does not allow visitors to change the content, you can only add comments. The software I use is called mediawiki.

The term wiki means quick in the Hawaiian language. A wiki allows a visitor to create new content and change the existing content. The best known example of a wiki is wikipedia

The reason that I have created the reference wiki is to help us handle reference questions on these topics. I personally find it very useful.
